Materials

Materials vary by theme and may include dyed rice, pasta, dried beans, acrylic-painted pieces, and other decorative sensory elements.

Some pasta-based materials may contain wheat. This product is intended for play only and is not edible.

Activities may contain small parts and food-based sensory materials, including rice, pasta, flour, or wheat. Materials are intended for play only and are not for consumption. Please disclose allergies, sensitivities, mouthing concerns, or other safety needs before the event. Reasonable substitutions may be discussed; however, an allergen-free environment cannot be guaranteed. Edible sensory options are available upon request and may require an additional fee based on ingredients.

Texture Lab Policy

Texture Lab’s hands-on sensory experience directly to your school, community event, festival, or family gathering! Children can visit themed sensory stations to scoop, pour, sort, create, and explore at their own pace. This open-play experience encourages fine-motor development, creativity, social interaction, and regulation in a fun, welcoming environment. Materials, setup, facilitation, and cleanup are included.

50% non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your event date. The retainer is applied toward the total package price, and the remaining balance must be paid no later than the scheduled event date.

Clients may reschedule once by providing at least 48 hours’ notice. Rescheduled dates are subject to availability. Cancellations, no-shows, or rescheduling requests made within 48 hours of the event will result in the loss of the retainer. If Texture Lab must cancel, the client may reschedule or receive a refund of payments made.

A responsible adult must remain present and actively supervise participating children. Texture Lab provides sensory activities and facilitation but does not provide childcare.

The client must provide a safe, accessible space for setup and obtain any required venue permission. Outdoor events should have an indoor or covered backup plan. Delays caused by the venue or guests do not extend the reserved playtime.

Texture Lab Shipping Policy

Thank you for shopping with Texture Lab! Our sensory fillers are handmade and packaged with care. Please review the information below before placing your order.

Order Processing

Ready-made products are normally prepared for shipment within 3–5 business days after payment is received.

Custom, personalized, and made-to-order products may require 7–10 business days to prepare. Processing begins after all customization details have been confirmed.

Business days do not include weekends or holidays. Processing times may be extended during holidays, product launches, special promotions, or periods of high order volume.

Processing time is separate from the carrier’s delivery time.

Shipping Rates

Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on the package weight, delivery location, and selected shipping service.

Any available discounts or free-shipping promotions will be shown during checkout.

Estimated Delivery

Once shipped, most domestic orders arrive within approximately 3–7 business days. Delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed.

Texture Lab is not responsible for carrier delays caused by weather, holidays, service interruptions, or other circumstances outside our control.

If an order is needed for a birthday, holiday, classroom activity, or special event, please place the order early enough to allow for both processing and shipping.

Order Tracking

When available, tracking information will be emailed to the address provided during checkout. Please allow up to 48 hours for tracking information to update after the shipping confirmation is sent.

Shipping Addresses

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.

If you notice an address error, please contact Texture Lab as soon as possible. An address cannot be changed after an order has shipped.

If a package is returned because of an incorrect or incomplete address, the customer will be responsible for the additional shipping charge required to send it again.

Lost or Delayed Packages

If your tracking information has not updated or your package appears delayed, please contact the shipping carrier first for the most current information.

If the issue remains unresolved, contact Texture Lab with your name and order number. We will assist with locating the package or filing a carrier claim when appropriate.

Texture Lab cannot guarantee replacement of packages marked as delivered by the carrier. If tracking shows that your package was delivered but you cannot find it, please check around your property, speak with household members or neighbors, and contact the carrier.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.

If an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact Texture Lab within three days of delivery. Include your order number, a description of the problem, and clear photographs of the product and shipping package.

Once the concern has been reviewed, Texture Lab will arrange an appropriate replacement or exchange.

Please do not discard the product or its original packaging until your claim has been resolved.

Local Pickup

Local pickup may be available in the Pensacola area when shown during checkout.

Customers will receive a notification when their order is ready, along with pickup instructions. Please wait for this notification before arriving.

Orders must be picked up within seven days unless other arrangements have been approved. Texture Lab is not responsible for orders left after the agreed pickup period.

Custom and Preorder Products

Custom products are created according to the details approved by the customer. Please review all theme, color, quantity, and personalization information carefully before submitting your order.

Preorder products will ship according to the estimated timeframe listed on the individual product page. If preorder and ready-made items are purchased together, the entire order may ship once all items are ready.

International Shipping

Texture Lab currently ships within the United States only. International shipping is not available at this time.
